About Dr. Naglieri
Board-certified family medicine practitioner Lori Naglieri, MD, fulfilled her dream in 2009 by opening her own practice, River Hills Family Medicine, where she emphasizes building life-long relationships with her patients in and around Austin and Leander, Texas. Dr. Naglieri addresses both physical and mental health at her practice, helping her patients to become the best versions of themselves. She truly considers it a joy and a privilege to practice medicine.
Dr. Naglieri graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas in 2000 and went on to complete her residency at McLennan County Family Medicine Program.
After her residency, Dr. Naglieri practiced with a large medical group in Austin, Texas where she gained valuable experience. However, she knew there was something missing in the large group. That something was time with her patients. She felt called to practice at a slower pace and on a more personal level.
Dr. Naglieri truly considers it a blessing to be called to the medical field and treats every patient with compassion, kindness, and professionalism. She prides herself on investing in the health of her patients and devotes ample time to each of her clients to ensure that their health needs are met.
Although not an Austin native, Dr. Naglieri now considers it her home. She and her husband have two children and being “Mom” to Grace and Michael has brought indescribable joy to her life. She also understands the trials of motherhood and appreciates the challenges in balancing work and family. In her free time, she enjoys church, college football, running, being on the lake, and spending time with her family and friends.
